LDC Staff Gazes Safely

Staff looking at Eclipse
Aug 21 2017

LYNCHBURG, VA August 21, 2017 - The staff at Lynchburg Dental Center took time to appreciate the first total solar eclipse in 38 years. Of course the team took appropriate safety precautions to protect their eyes while experiencing the effects.

As temperatures sweltered, the moon slowly moved over the path of the sun blocking the majority of its rays for a few minutes in the late afternoon. Although residents in Lynchburg only saw a partial eclipse, others in the direct path from Oregon to South Carolina experienced a total eclipse.

In between patients, a few members of the LDC team stepped out to enjoy the experience.
